This is a species tulip that flourishes well in Eastern North Carolina unlike the larger Dutch tulips that do not do well here. It is more petite growing 8 to 10 in. tall. Blooming in April, it sports lovely white inner petals and delicate blush pink exterior petals. 'Lady Jane' attracts pollinators and will naturalize, returning year after year.
