Amaryllis ’Minerva’ with its striking white star outlined in fire-engine red is the gift that keeps on giving! When it comes to multiple stems and many flowers on each stem, large bulb size matters! Elegantly growing up to 36 inches tall, each stem produces 3 to 4 flowers that will bloom 6 to10 weeks after planting. If these jumbo bulbs are planted around Thanksgiving, they should bloom for the holidays and last throughout the season. Plant the bulbs outside in Eastern NC and south in late spring and they will re-bloom every year. Amaryllis ‘Minerva’ potted up around New Year’s Day should be in bloom for Valentine’s Day, another red and white holiday.
