Tulip ‘Heart’s Delight’ Unlike the larger Dutch tulips, ‘Heart’s Delight’ is a species tulip that does much better in the South. It’s a delightful early bloomer that naturalizes, blooming year after year. The petals open to resemble water lilies. At 8 in. in height, they are more petite, yet their carmine red and creamy white petals will provide that early, lovely splash of color to the garden. They like full sun and do well both in borders and containers.
