Peony ‘Edulis Superba’ has been loved by gardeners for over a century for its fragrance and beautiful 5 to 7-inch double blossoms of bright rose-pink petals that are enhanced by smaller ivory petals at the heart of the blossom. Blooming in late spring to early summer, ‘Edulis Superba’ is an excellent cut flower with a vase life of a bit over a week. This reliable and vigorous peony forms a bushy mound of glossy, dark-green foliage reaching up to 36 inches in height and 24 to 30 inches in spread making it an attractive addition to your garden throughout the growing season. Planted in full sun in rich soil, ‘Edulis Superba’ requires little maintenance to bloom annually for up to 50 years.
